FAQs
We understand you might have heaps of Qs & we’ll try our best to answer them here but text us if you want to know anything specific, a few more details about the weekend, to chat about outfits or just to say hello before
the big day!
How do I RSVP/let you know about my dietaries?
Click the "RSVP" button on the top right of this page and let us know if we'll be celebrating with you! You'll be able to let us know of any dietary requirements, there too.
By when do I need to RSVP?
We'd be grateful for your RSVP by 30 September 2024.
Can I bring a plus one?
We're excited to celebrate with our nearest and dearest, and ask that only guests named on the invitations attend.
Are kids coming too?
We love the little ones but we've decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration.
What is the dress code?
Formal.
Terrific - what does that actually mean?
Formal is a step up from cocktail – suit and tie in any colour, a three-piece suit, long textured dresses, a fancy two-piece ensemble or anything with an elegant silhouette would be perfect. See the Attire page for inspo!
What will the weather be like?
Please keep in mind the wedding will be at the end of March (Autumn), but it tends to be a bit colder down the coast compared to Sydney. As the ceremony is planned to take place outdoors, we would recommend bringing a jacket/light coat in case.
Where should I stay?
We have put together a list of suggestions on suburbs / accommodation options around the South Coast, within a short driving distance to Greyleigh. You can have a look here – our Accommodation page.
How should I get to and from the venue?
Greyleigh is only 5 - 10 minutes' drive from Kiama. We will be organising buses for a pick-up and drop-off service at central spots in Kiama before and after the wedding. We'll keep you posted with further details closer to the day.
When do I need to be there?
The ceremony will start in the early afternoon - we will confirm the specific time closer to the day.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Greyleigh has several beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. Weather permitting, we will be having our ceremony and cocktail hour outside (on grass - stiletto at your own risk!) and our reception indoors.
Is there parking?
There is a limited amount of parking onsite.
Do I need to bring a gift?
Definitely not! The best gift you could give us is your company. If you did wish to bring a gift, there will be a wishing well at the reception.
How long should I stay on the South Coast?
Just a short drive from Sydney, Kiama / South Coast is an easy spot for a long weekend away. We recommend booking accommodation Friday - Sunday or even longer if you can!
What else is there to do on the South Coast?
We absolutely LOVE the South Coast and will put together a page on our favourite spots soon!
